What is Lucia Protocol? 🦄

Lucia Protocol is a non-custodial lending and borrowing platform that provides frictionless credit access to both individuals and startup enterprises.

Our goal is to level the playing field for people and businesses tired of running into the traditional blockers put in place by the monolithic financial system preventing them from easily accessing essential funds.

The LUCI token and the LCI token

LCI is the native protocol token. It can be used for staking and governance. See the section Staking and rewards down below for more information.

Lucia distributes all rewards in our native LUCI tokens, and to ensure privacy, we employ zero-knowledge proofs to ensure all credit score evaluations remain confidential. LUCI is a stablecoin built on EVM-compatible blockchains and anchored to a treasury reserve. It can be stored across a variety of digital asset wallets and has an ERC20 interface

How to participate in the Lucia Protocol Airdrop

You’ll need to have a crypto wallet. We recommend Metamask or TrustWallet. With trust wallet you’ll use WalletConnect to interact with our Galxe page.

Participate in our non-Galxe related contests such as our grants program and Flashloans bot contest.

On our TGE, we will create 100,000,000 LCI tokens. Initially 10,000,000 LCI tokens will be in circulation, but as we grow, we aim to have our circulating supply be closer and closer to 50% of our total supply

Our airdrop will occur in 3 tranches. Each airdrop will have an allocation of 1,000,000 tokens. There will be a sign up date prior to the airdrop. Only the people that have signed up prior to that sign up date will be eligible to receive rewards. The allocation shall be distributed to those people in the cohort. For example if 2,500 people sign up, each person will be eligible to receive up to 400 tokens.

Eligibility and storage

Lucia Protocol tokens will be live soon for trading on Uniswap, Quickswap, PancakeSwap, MantaSwap and LuciaDEX, our own native exchange, in Q2 2024.

You can store LCI tokens in any valid Web3 wallet such as Trust Wallet, Metamask, Edge, etc. We recommend storing your LCI tokens in a secure hardware wallet such as a Ledger Nano.

Staking and rewards

As a review, there are 2 tokens. LCI and LUCI.

LCI is used to secure the network. Lucia Protocol lets any retail investor put their money to work in a lending pool. Other people can borrow via the protocol, and lenders collect payment online such as interest and late fees, in addition to a 0.3% fee for all loan origination transactions.

LUCI can be spent on goods and services, transferred, or used within the Lucia Protocol’s ecosystem.

For people just getting into web3, we will have future products where LUCI stablecoins can be used to buy anything using a virtual credit card interface. We can’t announce who we’ve partnered with currently, but stay tuned for future announcements.
